These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of this website (“the Site”) and all coaching, courses, professional learning, workplace consulting, digital resources, and services offered by Heidi Lindgren (“I”, “me”, “my”).
By using the Site, booking a session, purchasing a course, attending training, or accessing any of my resources, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not continue.
1. WHO I AM
I operate as a sole trader under the name Heidi Lindgren (ABN: 61146375744). I provide:
ADHD coaching (individual and family/parent)
Student support and study skills coaching
Teacher professional learning
Workplace consulting on neurodiversity and inclusion
Online courses and downloadable guides

2. DEFINITIONS
Services: any coaching, consulting, professional learning, courses, digital products, or support I provide.
Client: the individual, parent, school, or workplace purchasing or receiving Services.
Website/Site: www.heidilindgren.com.au
Course Materials: worksheets, slides, videos, downloads, guides, templates, or any content I provide.
3. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By using the Site or booking/purchasing Services, you confirm that:
You have read and understood these Terms
You are legally able to enter into this agreement
You will comply with all policies listed on the Site
If accessing outside Australia, you are responsible for following your local laws
4. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
4.1 Coaching
Coaching supports understanding, planning, motivation, executive functioning, and strengths-building.
Coaching is not:
therapy
counselling
psychology
medical treatment
crisis support
legal or financial advice
4.2 Teen Coaching
If the client is under 18:
A parent/guardian must give consent
I respect the young person’s privacy while still providing appropriate updates to guardians
I may refer the family to other supports if needed
4.3 Professional Learning & Workshops
Schools and organisations may book workshops or training sessions.
A written proposal or invoice sets out:
inclusions
pricing
cancellation terms
travel if applicable
4.4 Workplace Consulting
Consulting may include policy reviews, training, or advice on inclusive practices.
4.5 Online Courses & Downloads
Purchases grant a personal, non-transferable licence for your own use.
Sharing, copying, distributing, or uploading materials elsewhere is not permitted.
5. HEALTH, WELLBEING & SAFETY
5.1 Not a substitute for therapy or medical care
I do not diagnose, treat, or provide psychological therapy.
Coaching is educational, strengths-based, and future-focused.
5.2 Your responsibility
You agree to:
Seek professional medical or psychological advice when needed
Inform me if you experience distress or discomfort
Decide what actions you take after coaching
Tell me if something feels unsafe or overwhelming
5.3 Crisis situations
I am not a crisis service.
If you are at risk of harm or in crisis, contact:

6. CONFIDENTIALITY
6.1 What I keep confidential
I keep private all information shared in coaching or consulting, except where:
You give permission to share
I am legally required to disclose
I believe there is a risk of serious harm to you or others
6.2 Young people
I balance privacy with safety.
Parents are informed of themes, progress and concerns, without sharing every detail unless necessary.
6.3 Group settings
I encourage confidentiality but cannot guarantee other participants’ behaviour.
7. BOOKINGS, CANCELLATIONS & NO-SHOW POLICY
7.1 Booking a session
Sessions are booked via my booking system or email. You will receive confirmation of the date, time, and format (online or in-person).
7.2 Rescheduling or cancelling
More than 24 hours’ notice → no cancellation fee
Less than 24 hours → 50% of the session fee is charged
No-show (no notice) → full session fee is charged
7.3 Running late
Sessions will still finish at the scheduled time. Full fee applies.
7.4 If I need to reschedule
I will always provide as much notice as possible and offer an alternative time.
If a prepaid session cannot be rescheduled, a refund will be provided.
7.5 Schools / PL / Workplace sessions
Cancellation terms are stated in each proposal or invoice (usually 7–14 days’ notice, depending on the event).
8. FEES, PAYMENTS & REFUNDS
8.1 Fees
Fees are listed on the Site, booking page, or proposal. Prices may change but are locked in once booked.
8.2 Payment terms
Payment is due:
At time of booking, or
As stated on your invoice (schools/organisations)
8.3 Accepted payment methods
Bank transfer, credit/debit card, Stripe, or other methods as listed.
8.4 Refund policy
Coaching sessions: refundable only if cancelled with 24+ hours' notice
Cancellations within 24 hours → 50% fee applies
No-shows → 100% fee
Online courses & downloads → non-refundable once accessed
Professional learning & consulting → refund terms per proposal/invoice
8.5 Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms removes your rights under the ACL.
9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY (EXPANDED)
All content provided by me including worksheets, templates, emails, frameworks, webinars, videos, handouts, slides, and online course materials remains my intellectual property.
You must not:
Copy
Reproduce
Modify
Upload
Share
Sell
Distribute
Use commercially
without my written permission.
Teachers may use provided classroom materials only with their own students unless otherwise agreed.
10. ONLINE COURSES, LOGIN DETAILS & DIGITAL ACCESS
If you enrol in an online course or purchase a download:
Your login is for your use only
You must not share access with others
I may revoke access if terms are breached
Access periods (if relevant) are stated at purchase
11. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
You agree to:
Attend sessions on time
Participate honestly and respectfully
Use the strategies you choose at your own discretion
Provide accurate information
Seek help from other professionals where needed
Communicate openly about concerns
12. COMMUNICATION BOUNDARIES

I aim to reply within 48 hours (Monday to Friday).
I am not available:
for 24/7 messaging
for crisis support
outside business hours unless arranged in advance for schools/workplaces
13. BEHAVIOUR & RESPECTFUL CONDUCT
I reserve the right to end a session or cease Services if behaviour is:
abusive
discriminatory
threatening
unsafe
inappropriate
No refund will be issued if Services are ended due to misconduct.
14. WEBSITE USE & SECURITY
You are responsible for:
Keeping login details confidential
Ensuring your device and internet connection are secure
Not attempting to access restricted parts of the Site or platform
15. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
I do not guarantee specific outcomes
I am not liable for decisions you make based on coaching or training
I am not responsible for losses, damages, costs or claims resulting from your use of the Services or Site
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to:
re-supply of the Services, or
a refund of the amount paid
16. FORCE MAJEURE
I am not liable for delays or changes caused by events beyond my control such as illness, emergencies, internet outages, natural disasters, or unforeseen disruptions.
17. SEVERABILITY
If one part of these Terms becomes invalid, the rest remains enforceable.
18. CHANGES TO TERMS
I may update these Terms at any time to reflect changes in services or laws. Updates will be posted on the Site. Continued use of the Site means you accept the updated version.
19. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
